Jolly Roger seafood

Shrimp lovers enjoyed!! I got the chicken fingers tossed in buffalo sauce...they were great!! I don't eat seafood but loved the hush puppies!!

This place is so amazing. Service was great they were so nice, and food was delicious. Crispy and tasted so fresh. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

I eat a lot of seafood, I will have to admit this restaurant has some good seafood. I will recommend to everyone! Service was excellent. Will definitely return!

We stopped here on a whim, and I'm glad we did!Great service and great food! They serve a wide variety of fresh fish, shrimp, scallops and crabs daily!And if you're not a seafood lover, they offer a variety of beef and chicken, and they cook it excellently!If you like a lot of seafood, the captain splatter is definitely the way to go!Service was excellent, staff were accurate and friendly.One thing to know, is that it did not smell like a typical seafood restaurant, everything was clean, and the place smelled fresh!

I ate here for lunch on Saturday. I had fried halibut sandwich with fries and my wife had grilled halibut sandwich with fries and a bowl of gumbo. The food was freshly prepared, it was a good portion, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was nice and it was all at a fair price. This was my first visit here and I will be a regular. I can't wait to try some of the other items.

Was told by a couple of people to eat here while visiting Blue Ridge and we are so glad we did. It's a small building in downtown Blue Ridge with maybe 10 to 12 tables but they seated us pretty fast. They do have a nice waiting area that is heated and air conditioned. Our. Server was very nice and easily answered any questions we had. But the food.... Was soooo good! It is the best seafood and the freshest seafood I have ever had not near the ocean. We will definitely be coming back. We had athe Captains Platter and Crab legs and both meals came with 2 sides and hush puppies. We both had sweet teas.Our meal was 65.00 but worth every penny!

Before I went to the Jolly Roger restaurant I read the reviews as many people do before they try a new restaurant. Some of those reviews were very unkind, so I went to the Jolly Roger to see for myself on January 6th. It was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The selection of seafood was fantastic. But, I didn't write a review. I wanted to go another time to see if there would be a consistency from one visit to the next.I went again, a week later on January 12th. FANTASTIC again! You can see the photo of my shrimp and scallops dinner. It tasted as good as it looks!!! I'm from Miami and would LOVE to have a place like this near me.My wife had fried oysters on her first visit and swordfish on her second visit. As a seafood lover from Long Island New York, she raved about both selections. If we lived in Blue Ridge we'd probably go once a week for our seafood fix.Please don't let those few negative reviews deter you from the Jolly Roger. The people of Blue Ridge are very lucky to have place with such great and fresh seafood in town.PS...the staff were super friendly and could not have been more welcoming. For me, it was amazing to find such terrific seafood in a small mountain town. I just love the Jolly Roger and you will too!!!!

Both of our dishes were excellent. Combo platter and rainbow trout. Look forward to the next time. May return sooner to pick up some fresh catch at the counter for the grill.
